Evaluation Activity 4

This is Tanguy . He is 17 years old and and is the mean age of my target audience. His favourite kind of film is either horror or comedy and he doesn’t like romantic films. He shops in clothes shops such as Topman, Jack Wills, and Abercrombie. He really likes all music but listens mainly to chart music, and loves comedy and documentary programmes.

Tanguy would watch my movie because he enjoys horror movies and enjoys watching moves with friends. I did a survey on SurveyMonkey and surveyed 30 people, 15 boys and  15 girls. Most of the girls said that comedy, romance and horror were their favourite films genres, on the other hand the boys said action or horror were they favourite. However the genre that came up most across both boys and girls was horror, so that is why I went with it.

The audience expectations that a horror movie would have suspense during the film as it is crucial in building the tension. Another expectation would be where the visuals would give make the audience jump as it is frightening and sudden.  I have tried to include all of these in my film and hope that they make the movie scary and memorable.
